Polydans Campaign for ROOSEVELT
This project involved creating a cohesive visual identity for Roosevelt’s third album Polydans, which blends nostalgic synth-pop and disco influences. The scope included the album artwork, six single covers, and multiple campaign assets, all designed to reflect the rich, retro soundscapes Roosevelt is known for.
I used 3D design as a primary tool to craft these visuals, taking heavy inspiration from the vibrant aesthetic of 70s and 80s electronics advertisements. The album artwork merges this retro-futuristic vibe with a modern twist, aligning with Roosevelt’s sonic exploration of past and present influences. Tracks like "Sign" and "Feels Right" evoke the energy of vintage synths while reinterpreting them for today’s audience, which was a key inspiration in my design process.
For the singles, each cover is centered around synthesizers, paying homage to the pivotal role these instruments play in the album's production. The visual language is playful yet polished, evoking the same sense of euphoria and escapism that runs through Roosevelt’s music.
This collaboration extended beyond just the artwork — it was an immersive journey into Roosevelt's creative world, where mixing genres and visual styles mirrored his musical process. Working on Polydans allowed me to expand my own technical skills, incorporating both 3D and motion design to create dynamic assets that seamlessly accompany Roosevelt's multi-layered sound.
Creative direction for this project was done in collaboration with C/O MAGICK.
